Restoring Backups

Learn how to restore backups and recover your data.

Before Backup Restoration

  • Create a current backup - Back up the current state
  • Inform your team - Everyone should know a restoration is taking place
  • Choose the right backup - Make sure you select the right backup

Restoring Backup

  1. Open your Environment
  2. Go to the "Backups" tab
  3. Find the backup you want to restore
  4. You have the option whether to import a backup you have or to select a backup to restore from the backup list

Select Backup

Find the backup you want to restore and click on the restore button

Import a Backup

  1. Click on the "Import Backup" button, a popup opens
  2. Upload your backup file

The uploaded file must be in ".zip" format. It must contain the "dump" file and the "filestore" folder in the root of the zip file

The time it takes to complete depends on the size.
Please note that your environment is not available during the backup

Wait until the restoration is complete before making changes.

After Backup Restoration

After successful restoration:

  1. Check the environment:

    • Open the environment
    • Check if everything works
    • Test important functions
  2. Check the data:

    • Make sure all data is present
    • Check if everything is correct
